INSPIRATION

Nature provides beauty, haven and mystery … strong inspirations for my landscape paintings.

I’ve spent thousands of hours deep in wilderness areas from the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of New Mexico to the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Close to our home in Mansfield, Massachusetts, I spend time in protected areas such as Borderland State Park in Easton, F. Gilbert Hills State Forest in Foxboro and Wrentham State Forest, as well as camping with my wife, Mary, right by Wilber Pond, near the George Washington Wildlife Management Area in Burrillville, RI.

Abstract paintings are done with both energy and imagination and are meant as decorative conversation pieces.  As no specific meaning is behind them, you are encouraged to interpret them as you wish or to simply enjoy them for what they are; more or less subjective expressions of color, line, form and texture.
